Maricelle Rivera

Maricelle Rivera brings over a decade of experience in the media industry, serving as an entertainment and local news correspondent in Puerto Rico. She is the producer and host of On The Go Puerto Rico on CBS Puerto Rico, which marked its 10th season in 2024, and also hosts Colors of the Caribbean.

After graduating high school, Maricelle left the island and spent a decade in Europe, exploring the world independently and enriching her life experiences. She fondly remembers her time in the United Kingdom, where she observed how people worked tirelessly year-round just to enjoy a single week of vacation in the Caribbean. This realization deepened her love for her homeland, and upon her return, she committed herself to showcasing the beauty of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to global audiences.

Maricelle’s philosophy is to showcase life in paradise—Puerto Rico and the Caribbean—embracing the motto: "We may not be perfect, but we are the most fun." Despite natural challenges, she highlights the resilience and joy of Caribbean people, who take great pride in calling this paradise home. She believes everyone should visit and experience the magic of the Caribbean multiple times in their lifetime.
